Each year Waldersey supply Welney Wetland centre with stock feed potatoes for feeding swans and visiting wildfowl over the winter period. Thousands of Bewick and Whooper Swans make their winter migration to the Fens.

It was an amazing swan season at Welney last winter, with some of the longest serving members of staff saying it was the best in a long time.

Welney takes in 1,000 acres of the Ouse Washes alongside 300 acres of wetland creation, where some of the UK’s rarest ground nesting birds hatch their young. Waldersey farm land adjacent to this important reserve.

We look forward to providing potatoes again this winter and hope for another great season.
