Waldersey Farms has invested in Dewulf’s 4 row self-propelled, 11 ton bunker harvester to support the harvest of 30 million potatoes a year.
Renowned for its excellent stability, it can harvest for longer, even in wet conditions. It is equipped with big, hydraulic-driven discs and large rear wheels with two tracks under the machine for stability.
Our farm specialises in growing frying potatoes marketed under the Chippers brand – these include varieties Markies, Agria, Maris Piper and Sagita. Once harvested these are kept in top quality storage that uses renewable energy to keep the potatoes at the optimum temperature so they are available for market all year round.
