Waldersey is custodian of unique farmland and soils, as such protecting the natural environment, resources and biodiversity forms part of everything we do.
Across our environmental schemes we actively manage:
22 hectares of bumblebee plots
5 hectares cultivated for nesting Lapwing and Brown hares
40 hectares of winter bird food plots
In addition to this there are flower rich margins, grass margins against watercourses/ditches/rivers and permanent pasture managed as hay meadows
